Nirmala Hostel managed by the Society of Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary provides accommodation to eligible students.
There is a limited accommodation in the hostel. Students not living with their Parents/Guardians are advised to make their own arrangement.

COLLEGE CANTEEN
College Canteen is open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on all working days and remains closed during holidays. The canteenserves hygienic & tasty cuisine at subsidized rates. Food quality is monitored and supervised regularly.

LIBRARY
The college has an automated online library and an e-library section and contains more than32000 books, hundreds of journals, periodicals, newspapers, providing free access to more than 3,800 e-journals and 80,000 e-books under the UGC-INFLIBNET N-LIST programmeto promote advance learning and research.

General Library
It has books in all the subjects being taught in the college as well as some books and Journals of general interest to the students. Some important daily newspapers and magazines in Hindi and English are also regularly received.
Book Bank
This section has essential textbooks in all the subjects. Only those students who cannot afford to buy books are allowed to take books from this section.
Library Rules
The College Library, with its books, magazines and newspapers, is the property of college.
All the Books/Magazines/Newspapers must be protected and used with utmost care by the students, for they will give you knowledge, will broaden your horizon and will help you fulfill your ambition and goal in life.
Library reading rooms is a place to read study and make notes and must be used for these purposes only.
There must be Discipline and Silence in the Library/Reading Room/Reference Section. Students may be asked to leave the Library if they disturb the Peace and Quiet of the Library.
If damage is discovered to any Library book/magazine/newspaper, the guilty student is liable to be blacklisted by the Librarian. She may be suspended from using the Library for one month or more. She may also be fined for the value of the book/magazine, damaged or lost by her.
Books are issued from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Each class is given specific days to get books issued.
Serious students of the Graduate Classes may issue books every day. However, they may issue book only after 1 p.m. and only once a day.
Serious students of the Graduate Classes may choose to keep their Library cards till 15 days of the start of the university Examinations. They will seek this facility, by making a written request to the Principal. After securing the approval and consent of the Principal, they will approach the Librarian for the above granted facility. These students will be issued their Examination Admit Card, only after they have returned their Library cards to the Librarian and have obtained her clearance thereof.
Library rules must be followed strictly by all the students.

POOR STUDENTS’ TEXTBOOK LIBRARY
Poor Students Textbook Library facilities subject to availability of grants and as per rules.
- LABORATORIES
College has well-equipped and well-furnished laboratories for Science (Botany, Chemistry, Physics and Zoology), Arts (Geography, Psychology and Home Science) and Computer Science which is upgraded constantly to accommodate the dynamic curriculum of higher education system. A new GIS-Remote Sensing Lab & a Language Lab is under planning.
- A/V TEACHING AIDS
College has a smart classroom and all the classrooms are enabled with A/V facility. As a student-centric teaching methodology, regular use of audio-visual aids in classroom teaching by the faculty ensures easy grasp of the subject matter and leads to a better understanding of the course contents.
- STUDENT AID FUND
Student Aid Fund provides aid to needy students who do not receive aid from any other source. This is subject to availability of funds.
- SCHOLARSHIPS
Application for Scholarship from studentsbelonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class, Momin and Low-Income Group will be forwarded to the authorities for sanction. Deserving students will also be recommended for merit scholarships to the authorities and donors of student aid.

- CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
All activities - athletics, cultural and social which may be directly or indirectly identified with the college are subject to the explicit and definite approval of the Principal of the college.
Approved activities are normally conducted under the auspices of the variousCommittees and Departments of the college. Students are encouraged to participate actively in programmes, and functions conducted by these societies as such activities contribute much towards the all-round development of a student.
- REMEDIAL CLASSES
Students are advised to attend remedial classes in their respective subject.
- AICUF& CLC
AICUF stands for All Indian Catholic University Federation. It strives to train leaders, create awareness about rights and duties towards society and become men and women for others. The National Centre is in Chennai. Its membership is open to all.
CLC stands for Christian Living Community. Its membership is open to all Christian students to help them in their faith formation.
- SPORTS/ SELF-DEFENCE
College provides training in karate and coaching in Netball. Students may also avail other sports facilities like basketball, football, badminton, table tennis, hockey, volleyball for practice and participation in national level events.
- NATIONAL CADET CORPS (N.C.C.)
College has an N.C.C. unit (Unit – 3 Jharkhand Girls’ Battalion N.C.C., Ranchi) coordinated by an Associate N.C.C. Officer (A.N.O.) and a commanding officer. Training classes are held every Saturday from 2.30 p.m. – 4.00 pm. Students are encouraged to join the N.C.C. on voluntary basis.
- NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (N.S.S.)
College has three N.S.S. units coordinated by programme officers and composed of student volunteers who perform community service as an extension activity under this scheme.

CAREER COUNSELLING & PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE
The career counselling and placement cell of the college organizes various career counselling sessions round the year to motivate and guide the students in choosing an appropriate career and to understand & develop the skills necessary for getting employed. In association with the EXCEL Programme by TISS and other employability partners from the industrial sector, the college organizes campus placement drives/ career conclaves to facilitate placement of the students. Our students are recruited every year by reputed companies like Indigo airlines, TCS, Concentrix, IBM, Banking sector etc.

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
College has a health room with first-aid facilities where a lady doctor visits every Saturday to assist students who need medical help. MECON hospital also provides medical assistance during emergency conditions.

Academic tours and trips form an an integral part of the curriculum to facilitate an experiential learning environment for the studentsand is organized and managed by the respective departments of the college.

AUDITORIUM
The state-of-art Collegeauditorium with a seating capacity of 700, serves as a multipurpose hall, hosting indoor games tournaments, Youth Festivals and Symposiums sponsored by UGC, ICSSR, ICHR, NAAC and RUSA and as a centre for Centralized Evaluation of Ranchi University every year.
