TheDepartment of Commerce offers undergraduate course in commerce. It came intoexistence on 14 July 2014. The Department started its first classroomteaching with 180 students enrolled. The teaching staffs are well equipped withrequired qualifications and expertise.

Theacademic program consists of classroom teaching, tutorials, revisions,ethics classes,career counselling sessions, guest lectures, programs, interactive seasons,assignments, projects and internship with firms.

 Pass percentage of department of commerce is approx.98 percent every year.It has given a gold medalist to the Ranchi University forhighest percentage for the session 2018 - 2021.
